A Comfortable Dental Experience
During the office visit, an oral sedative is provided to the patient. Along with nitrous oxide (laughing gas) the sedative provides a decreased level of anxiety and increased relaxation so the patient is comfortable for dental treatment. It also creates an amnesic effect meaning most patients happily remember little of their treatment. For those needing a higher level of sedation, we also offer I. V. sedation provided by a licensed anesthesiologist.
